FDi Engineering has successfully achieved certification to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, following the completion of our Stage 2 audit.
This marks an important milestone for the business as we continue to strengthen the management systems, working practices and internal processes that support our engineering, machining, fabrication and assembly work.
ISO 14001 focuses on environmental management, while ISO 45001 relates to occupational health and safety. Together, they provide a recognised framework for managing environmental responsibility, workplace safety, risk control and continual improvement.
For FDi Engineering, this certification is not a box-ticking exercise. It reflects the culture we are building across the business.
Processes built into everyday working
Strong management systems only work when they become part of daily operations.
At FDi Engineering, the processes behind ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 have been built into how our teams work, make decisions and take responsibility. From the shop floor to project planning, these standards support a more structured, accountable and consistent way of operating.
They help guide how we manage risk, protect our people, reduce environmental impact and maintain safe, responsible working practices across the business.
Supporting safer and more responsible engineering
As an engineering business working across CNC machining, welding and fabrication, mechanical fitting and assembly, safe and controlled processes matter.
Our clients need confidence not only in the quality of the finished component or assembly, but also in the systems behind the work.
Achieving ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification gives our clients further assurance that we operate with clear procedures, defined responsibilities, and a commitment to ongoing improvement.
It supports:
- Stronger environmental management
- Safer working practices
- Clearer risk control
- Greater accountability across teams
- More consistent internal processes
- Continuous improvement across the business
A milestone for the whole team
Reaching this stage has taken focus, discipline and commitment from people across FDi Engineering.
The successful completion of our Stage 2 audit reflects the work taking place behind the scenes to build a business that is not only technically capable, but also responsible, structured and resilient.
A big thank you to everyone involved in achieving this milestone. As FDi Engineering continues to grow, these certifications form an important part of our commitment to safe, responsible and dependable engineering.
